Bio

My name is Breanne Beene. I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Go Vols!) as well as Lee University. This is my seventh year at RCES and sixth year teaching fourth grade.

It is a pleasure to have your child in my class this year. I will love and respect them just as I would want a teacher to treat my children. I am very willing to work with you and your child on any situation that may arise. Please keep in mind that I am always working in the best interest of my students. This is true both with academics and discipline matters. I love and thoroughly enjoy working with children.

In my years of teaching, I have become committed to the importance of parental involvement in a student's education. I firmly believe that your child receives the best education possible when you and I work as a team. I will keep you informed of classroom activities through weekly newsletters and my website. These are our main sources of communication so please read these over. I spend a lot of time on these and hope they are useful to you. You will also be informed of your child's progress through a Homework Assignment Sheet that will need to be signed on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. This Homework Assignment Sheet will be in a folder I have provided for each child and must be returned to school every day. Graded papers will be coming home on Fridays in the same folder along with their newsletter.

Rhea Central has made many improvements for this school year. I hope that it will be your child's best year ever! I plan for them to learn a lot and have a tremendous amount of fun doing that!

If you should ever have any questions or concerns please send me a note or call the school (775-7842) and I will get back with you as soon as possible.
